As an organisation we advocate for comprehensive services for people with dementia and their carers. We carry out regular surveys of people with dementia and their carers to find out their views about our services.
Many people who have been carers remain involved with the charity so that they can help other people in similar circumstances. One example is that our Board of Trustees mostly consists of carers or former carers.
We also work on Partnership Boards and at other strategic meetings relating to the needs of people affected by dementia.
This involves working in partnership with a wide range of other professionals and agencies. These include GPs, the West London Mental Health Trust, Care Managers at Social Services, staff at Ealing Hospital and community organisations.
