Dementia Concern supports over 1,100 clients living with dementia and in excess of 900 carers. The charity has recently had funding cut from the local council which helped provide our social clubs and respite care at reduced rates.

The recent health pandemic has further affected the income from which the charity receives funding for its fee-based services.

Every donation that the charity receives supports the direct work with those living with dementia and their carers.

Every £40 donated provides one hour of dedicated advocacy or specialist support to a client or carer in need. This support includes assessments to diagnose dementia, visits to those living alone with dementia, medication reviews and a wide range of activities or respite care for clients.
