Dementia Concern supports over 1,100 clients living with dementia and in excess of 900 carers. The charity has recently had funding cut from the local Council which helped to provide social clubs and respite care at reduced rates.

The recent health pandemic has further affected the income from which the charity receives funding from its fee-based services. Each donation that the charity receives supports the direct work with those living with dementia and their carers.

The range of this support includes assessments to diagnose dementia, visits to those living alone with dementia, medication reviews and a wide range of activities or respite care for clients.
