Support Us Legacy Giving Legacy Giving A Gift in Your Will As a charity, Dementia Concern relies on the generosity of our supporters to fund our work. One very important source of income is gifts in wills, also known as legacy giving. Gifts left to us in wills help us to deliver our existing services and develop new ones. These donations are a vital source of funds, without which we would struggle to provide the support local people need. Our vision is for a world where all families affected by dementia get the care and support they need. If you've received support from Dementia Concern and would like to show your appreciation, or if you share our vision and wish to help other families in the future, please help turn this into reality by remembering our work in your will. We know that you will wish to provide for your loved ones first but, after you have done this, if there is scope to remember our work too, we would be very grateful for your support. It will make such a difference to those in Ealing affected by dementia. How Can I Leave a Gift in My Will? Gifts in wills come in different types and sizes. Some people like to leave a cash sum, whereas others leave a share of their estate. Some people also choose to gift possessions, such as jewellery or paintings. If you already have a will, then you can update it to include your intention to leave a sum of money or other asset to your chosen charity. This is typically done by hiring a local solicitor and working with them to update your will. If you don't have a will yet, then a solicitor can guide you through the process of writing one and ensuring it's legally binding. While writing your will, you can set out your intentions for legacy giving. Manage Cookie Preferences
