Carer's Support Group - Dementia Choir Date: Monday, May 13th Time: 2pm - 4pm Location: Elm Lodge, 4A Marley Close, Greenford UB6 9UG. Good Practice in Dementia Celebration Date: TBC Time: TBC Location: This is an online event - attendees will receive a link to join via email. Info: Talking about best practice in dementia care. This event is organised by the West London Health Trust. An Evening with Judith Silver Date: Wednesday, May 15th Time: 5:15pm - 8:00pm Location: Dementia Concern, 223 Windmill Road, London, W5 4DJ Info: Following on from the showings of her play with music, 'Mum Thumb', Judith will be offering a workshop focusing on a couple of key scenes from the play and some of its music. We'll get to see and then read the scenes and sing together, as well as sharing any of our own ideas and reactions that these evoke. Mum Thumb shares stories based on the lives and experiences of Judith and her mother. It flashes back to their earlier lives as well as focusing on the latter parts of the mother’s life, including her journey through vascular dementia. This event is free but spaces are limited so please contact us to book your space. Also, respite is available at the venue for those who would otherwise be unable to attend.
