Information Stall at Ealing Hospital

Date: Tuesday, May 14th & Wednesday, May 15th

Time: 10am - 4pm, both days

Location: Ealing Hospital, Main Entrance

Info: Members of the Dementia Concern team will be joining Dementia Specialist Nurse, Tracie Kidd, at Ealing Hospital.

Carer's Support Group - Dementia Choir

Date: Monday, May 13th

Time: 2pm - 4pm

Location: Elm Lodge, 4A Marley Close, Greenford UB6 9UG.

Info: Open to anyone who is supporting someone with dementia, respite places available. Please book a place as spaces are limited.

Good Practice in Dementia Celebration

Info: Talking about best practice in dementia care. This event is organised by the West London Health Trust. 

An Evening with Judith Silver

Date: Wednesday, May 15th

Time: 5:15pm - 8:00pm

Location: Dementia Concern, 223 Windmill Road, London, W5 4DJ

Info: Following on from the showings of her play with music, 'Mum Thumb', Judith will be offering a workshop focusing on a couple of key scenes from the play and some of its music. We'll get to see and then read the scenes and sing together, as well as sharing any of our own ideas and reactions that these evoke.

Mum Thumb shares stories based on the lives and experiences of Judith and her mother. It flashes back to their earlier lives as well as focusing on the latter parts of the mother’s life, including her journey through vascular dementia.

This event is free but spaces are limited so please contact us to book your space. Also, respite is available at the venue for those who would otherwise be unable to attend.

Music Therapy Taster Session

Date: Thursday, May 23rd

Info: Come along and join in playing instruments and singing.

This taster session is open to people with dementia and their carers, and is hosted by David, a music therapist from the West London Heath Trust. Spaces are limited so please call Linda on 07850279346 to book yours.

Spring Dinner Dance

Info: The Spring Dinner Dance is open to clients known to Dementia Concern. This will be a celebration and a chance for our clients to socialise, dance and dine with their loved ones.
